BEDM Challenge: Day 5 The Sister I Never Had

Today's blog challenge was a no-brainer for me and I instantly knew what to write as soon as I saw  the prompt.

"Publicly profess your love and devotion for one of your blogger friends."

Allow me to introduce you to my hetero-life partner Katherine Wartell, or KT as I refer to her! I have been nagging my friend Katherine Wartell for the better part of a year to create a blog and tomorrow it will FINALLY happen. I was so excited about the timing of the prompt and the fact that I would get to gush about KT the day before her blog goes live. :) KT did a guest fashion post on my blog a while back and you can find it, here.
My KT and I met in college in an anthropology class and I knew it was going to be true love after her first side-look at the students who took our class just a little TOO seriously. KT's glare is infamous and she can literally create a force-field at a crowded bar by unleashing one of her stares. KT and I share the same sense of humor, love of Sci-fi B movies, fashion, horrible reality shows, and a good bottle of wine.
KT and I in our college days. We made such a great Halloween combo!

What we were doing when we should have been doing homework.
Katherine has never let me down in the time that I have known her and she always seems to get what I'm trying to say even when I don't know to put it. She also calls me out when I am being ridiculous, which is FAIRLY OFTEN. I am an only child, but if I had ever had a sister I would like to think that she would be like KT. I am so thankful to have met Katherine and I can't even begin to tell you the number of times that we have cried, laughed, encouraged, or slept in the same bed because we were too terrified to sleep alone after watching the latest horror movie.

Sharing a dance at my wedding!
Katherine is the butter to my toast and I know that her blog is going to be a huge success because she is one of the most talented women that I have ever had the pleasure to meet. I love you like a sister, KT, and I can't wait for us to become old obnoxious biddies together!

Check out KT's fashion post, here, and take a gander at the DIY wine charms that she sent me, here.
