Sneak Peek!

After being computerless for much longer than I liked, I am finally back! I didn't end of getting a new computer, but instead got my old one repaired which was a relief! I had thought a new computer was a must since every service center I visited refused to work on macs....or to speak English. My Hangul is improving everyday, but a discussion about hard drives and ports is still waaaaaaay out of grasp for me. To help me out in my language fix a Korean friend of mine helped and went with me to the nearest mac specific service center we could find in the city, and they handled the linguistic side of the visit!

Now I have my computer back with a brand-new hard drive and I am ready to start reinstalling all my software, AND have started getting together a major shop update! Here are a few of the newest items that will soon be making it into the shop! I hope you all like them, are as excited for the spring season, and all the great fashion and colors that come with it like I am!

How has everyone's New Year been going? I hope that y'all are all knocking 2013 out of the park! I have been a busy bee lately and have been working on my New Year's resolutions like they are going out of style! I am really encouraged by the way this year is going and I have taken the "make it so" mentality to heart.

Hurray, it's Sneak Peek Time!

While the holidays are winding down I have taken the opportunity to get a shop overhaul in the works! I have been playing around with new software and it has been really fun especially with my mannequin to help me. Her name is Betty. :)

You would not believe what a time-saver it is when it comes to getting the clothing modeled and photographed. 

My Betty is the best 19 dollar purchase that I ever made on a sidewalk in Seoul. Love at first sight!

Here is a little something that I have been working on and wanted to share with everyone! I hope that everyone loves the fresh new look that will be hitting the shop in the near future.

Dinking around with the new software and photography has really helped me stave off cabin fever since the temperatures in Seoul have become pretty unpleasant. How is the weather where you are and what do you do to help stay sane when it isn't fun to be outside?

I have been slowly getting back into the swing of things in Seoul and here is my first shop update since vacation! I am nearly done with my graduate applications, and you can be sure that these little beauties and more will be making an appearance in the shop.

We were busy bees today and did a small photo shoot! Who says that fall has to be dreary? We are playing up a bold floral pattern with a variety of textures and details in our new inventory.

Now that the test is out of the way I feel like a weight has been lifted off of me and my grad application journey seems tangible and real. Exciting!

To celebrate here is a lovely shop update preview!

With all the cool weather I have shifted my vintage finding focus to cozy and pretty vintage sweaters, and I am so happy to share them with everyone! Keep your eyes open because these angora blend lovelies will be in the shop VERY soon. :)

I am so excited for fall, who else is with me? I have been spending my last couple of free mornings with a homemade soy pumpkin latte in hand and it has been just right for the weather here in South Korea. What are your favorite fall drinks? I will be sharing my recipe on the site very soon and I would love to know what everyone else is drinking to fight off the morning chill.

Things I love : SISTAR

I love K-pop....yes, I said it. 

Most of the world is all about PSY's Gangnam Style, and while I think the video is hilarious, there is only so much I can see it, heart it, and watch my student's latest version of the dance and song.

HOWEVER, there is a lot more out there as far as K-Pop is concerned, and even then K-Pop is just scratching the surface of all the amazing Korean music there is here in Seoul! More to come on some amazing Korean funk bands that I had the pleasure of seeing at a nearby underground club. 

Right now, my K-Pop poison of choice is Sistar's "Loving You". I don't know if its the setting in Hawaii, the adorable outfits, or the really catchy hook and chorus that even I have mastered to sing in Hangul, but "Loving You" is what you can find filling my ears at the moment while working on blog, shop, and grad school applications. 

"Loving You" never fails to put me in a happy mood and it is always the perfect song to stave off the Monday blues! I wanted to share this little sunny gem with everyone and I hope it makes everyone's Monday a little happier.

Sistar is an all girl Korean Pop quartet made up of Hyorin, Bora, Soyou and Dasom.  "Loving You" is the group's take off single for 2012, and the group has been around and releasing catchy pop tunes since about 2010.  My favorite is Hyorin! She is rocking the Hello Kitty glasses in this photo and the video.

  I feel so assimilated now, finally a blog post dedicated to K-Pop.
